I've not quite put in the time I'd like for this project, so I'm not quite finished yet. Fortunately, I am making progress from the blank piece of paper I started with. Here's what I have so far:
It's 14x11 inches and currently under the working title "watercolor bighorns". Very original, I know. There's still a lot of work to do (mostly with greens), and the picture still has rather blurry look to it, but I'm looking forward to trying to bring out the eye popping color this picture deserves. I'll try to remember to post the the final product when I can find the time to polish up the piece. :)
You're certainly on your way to a great piece. I can't wait to see the "eye-popping" colors!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! I love the bighorn sheep are so cool. What I love the most are the mountains! They are just fantastic! All together I think it is very realistic and you did a very good job :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome and I love the big horned sheep they must have taken alot of time, nice job!
ReplyDeleteThose sheep are amazing you have great talent. I love the mountains and all of the detail that are shown in them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, Megumi, you really took on a challenge here. I love the amount of detail there is, and the sharpness of the mountains. You did a great job shading, and on the clouds. The only thing I would change is I would make the foreground where the sheep are, a little bit more darker. You really did an amazing job. My painting pales in comparison to yours!
ReplyDeleteI like how the mountains are so clearly ridged. Your bighorns look great already, without any extra detail. If you want to add anything else to your to-do list, I’d consider softening the clouds
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing I love all the detail and the color in the goats and the mountains and the sky keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic. I love the detail you did on the mountain and the way you did the trees in the background. Also the bighorn sheep look great. The way you layered the picture is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing! I love how you did the bighorns! My favorite part is the brown mountain in the back. This is because of all the detail on it. If I had any suggestions, it would be to add a little more detail on the green mountain.
ReplyDeleteThat is great. I like the goats that is in the picture. You made it look like the picture. This picture looks really challenging. Love to see more work from you in the future.
ReplyDeleteI lie the sheep in it it adds a little more detail
ReplyDeleteI think It is awesome I love the mountains and big horned sheep.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. You are obviously much better at painting then I am.
ReplyDeleteNicely set up and blended together--you picked a challenging image and applied yourself! It really is a great piece of art and very enjoyable. I would have liked to see some bolder color so it was closer to the original, but that can't overshadow the great style you have!
ReplyDeleteThis is really good. The amount of detail is incredible. The clouds look a bit empty to me, though.
ReplyDeleteWow stark work! Sweet job!!! I love your portrayal of the clouds. And how you showed the animals and made them really "FEEL" like living things. Your perspective looks awesome as well! All the advice I can offer you as you did a great job is that you should add more detail. Show off that brush!! Good job!
